On Missouri's MAP end-of-course (EOC) assessments, Geometry is reported on a scale from 325 to 480 (2019 and 2021 to 2025), and each score falls into one of 4 performance levels. Reaching Proficient, at 400 or above, is the state's proficiency line.
| Level | Score range | What it means | Statewide 2025 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Below Basic | 325–386 | The lowest level, well below the state standard | 12% |
| Basic | 387–399 | Approaching the state standard | 23% |
| Proficient | 400–413 | Meeting the state standard (the proficiency line) | 29% |
| Advanced | 414–480 | The highest level, above the state standard | 36% |
Statewide in 2025, about 65% of the students counted for Geometry reached Proficient or Advanced. The bar above shows the share at each level (left = lowest).
These counts are the students who took this end-of-course test during the school year, in the summer, fall and spring testing windows together. Middle-school students who take a high-school course test early (most often Algebra I) are included, counted at their middle school.

A score's meaning depends on where it lands in the ranges above, and on how it compares to other students who took the same test. Our free tool turns a Geometry score into an estimated percentile versus the school, district and the whole state, so you can see where a score stands, not just its level.
