Who takes this test

These numbers are the DC public and public charter school students who took each high-school course exam (PARCC, then DC CAPE), by the school where they tested. Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II count high-school students (grades 9-12) only; middle-school students who take those courses are not included. English I and II count every student who took them. OSSE hides groups of fewer than 10 students.

Is a particular score good?

A score's meaning depends on where it lands in the ranges above, and on how it compares to other students who took the same test. Our free tool turns an Algebra II score into an estimated percentile versus the school, LEA and the whole state, so you can see where a score stands, not just its level.
