Each Ohio high-school test (English II, Algebra I, Geometry, Integrated Math I, Integrated Math II, Biology, American History and American Government) is scored on its own scale and sorted into performance levels. Pick a test to see the score range for every level, year by year, plus how students scored statewide.

Each course test is taken by the students in that course that year, so each test has its own group. As on Ohio's report card, a school counts each student once a year at their best score, without retakes of a course already counted. Middle-school students who take Algebra I or Geometry early are counted at their middle school (27,324 middle-school Algebra I tests in 2025, 21% of all Algebra I tests). Ohio prints each school's math and social studies results added up across their tests, so the split between those tests is estimated (see the methodology page). Groups under 10 testers are not shown.
