These numbers are the Idaho public school students counted in grade 11 for the Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) in ELA, math and science, by the school where they tested. A student can take the ELA or math test early, in grade 9 or 10, and have that score count for grade 11. Idaho hides small numbers: where one level is hidden it is worked out from the rest, and groups under 20 students with several levels hidden are left out.

A score's meaning depends on where it lands in the ranges above, and on how it compares to other students who took the same test. Our free tool turns a Grade 11 ELA score into an estimated percentile versus the school, district and the whole state, so you can see where a score stands, not just its level.
