| Test | Score scale | The proficiency line | Years |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grade 9 ELA | 1450–1850 | Proficient from 1619 | 2018, 2019 and 2022 to 2025 (ranges changed in 2022 and 2023) |
| Grade 9 Math | 1450–1850 | Proficient from 1590 | 2018, 2019 and 2022 to 2025 (ranges changed in 2022 and 2023) |
| Grade 10 Science | 400–800 | Proficient from 601 | 2018, 2019 and 2022 to 2025 (ranges changed in 2022) |
These numbers are the Alaska public school students in grade 9 tested in ELA and math, and in grade 10 tested in science, by the school where they tested: PEAKS and the older science test in 2018 and 2019, AK STAR and the Alaska Science Assessment from 2022. Alaska hides a group's whole row when it is small; the statewide figures add up the district reports, since Alaska publishes no statewide breakdown by level.
